Tuesday 2nd April – Clubman Resto night at the Merton Hotel, Rozelle. Come along to the Merton Hotel on Victoria Road Rozelle for a great dinner. Club member Aiden owns the Merton, the beers are cold and the food is excellent. Aiden has offered us a semi private area for dinner. And we may do a bit of club meeting stuff too – hear about recent rides since the last meeting and catch up on whats coming up. Plan on being there from 6.30 onwards and we will try to eat about 7.00pm
Location: 38 Victoria Rd, Rozelle

To quote Paul Greenup "Nobody in Clubman cares how fast you can ride........ in a straight line"
Well this is one event where it does matter. You get a chance to pitch yourself against other Clubmen & Women to see how razor sharp your reaction times are and the opportunity to get the most out of your machine in a safe environment.

It's time for another social/maintenance day. When was the last time you had to fix that puncture on the side of the road? You have carried the repair kit but haven’t had to use it? Good time to practice is now. Need to change those fork seals and have never done this before, or whatever, there'll be plenty of expertise on hand, if you don't need to get anything done, pop round even just to say hi, we will get a sausage sizzle going for lunch.

I spotted the following event on Facebook a week or so ago and thought it might be of interest to a niche section of the club who appreciate the refined taste of beer served at “cellar temperature”.

This club is a diverse group, and it turns out when we’re not out riding, some of us girls knit, crochet, sew, paint, draw etc. So this is a girls weekend away for us to spend some time with our craft work. We have booked a gorgeous house in the Hunter Valley for the Friday and Saturday nights. Accommodation costs will be around $170 each (depending on numbers). We self cater food and spend the weekend doing our various hobbies, eating, drinking and having a good old gossip. These are very chilled weekends.
Places are limited so if you’re not already booked in but keen to come please contact Liz for details.

It was Tom's wish that half of his ashes be scattered in Botany Bay with the remainder sent to his father in Hungary. We will be holding a ceremony at Molineaux Point Lookout to scatter Tom’s ashes followed by a wake at a nearby club. Since motorcycling was a fundamental part of Tom's life, we will start with a short motorcycle procession to escort Tom's ashes to the ceremony - all motorcyclists are invited to attend.

This is a get together for people coming to the OCR in August (or considering coming, or just interested) to plan the trip. We will discuss route ideas, distances, bike prep, etc.

Our esteemed treasurer is putting on a BBQ in his new place on the Sunday of the GP weekend. He's planning on streaming it so barring local contractual blackouts we'll get all the races. Turn up to watch races or just to catch up. Bring something to throw on the BBQ. RSVP to Loonie so he can cater properly.
