It's been a while so it must be time to give our trusty steeds some well deserved TLC, maybe it's time to fit those new accessories, replace those brake pads or learn how to plug that tire. There is a well equipped garage available and plenty of expertise on hand to help with all those tasks that are always better to do in the company of fellow clubmen(women).

The Karuah River Rally has been held for decades at a riverside campsite on the Karuah River near Dungog. It's organised by the BMW club of NSW but any sort of bike (and rider) can go.

Key points: It's camping and bring your own EVERYTHING! Thats tent, food, beverages etc. Nearest supplies are available in Dungog. There is about 15k of dirt on the way in, good dirt.

Clubman Tourers have been going to the Karuah River Rally in varying numbers for decades. There have been some big moments there, often involving swimming in the river (bring togs).

It's been a while since I've done a dirty day loop.

This ride is suitable for adventure bikes of any size. The "difficulty" in trails incrementally increases throughout the day with the max difficulty being an "intermediate" level of dirt capability

There are numerous bug out points if you don't feel able to complete the entire planned ride.

The duration of the ride will be tailored to the group and conditions on the day.

Hampton Half Way Hotel - Xmas Party/Ride

Meet 9.00 for 9.30 at Maccas McGraths Hill for the city dwellers.  Alternate meet point and route likely for the Southern Highlanders.

The hotel/motel has been renovated and looks pretty flash, so its a good opportunity to give the place many of us have passed, but never stopped at a whirl.  A great opportunity to dust off your leathers and catch up with the Clubman folk.

Sunday 15th September the AGM is on at Bundanoon Hotel at noon.  What better way to get there than an overnight ride over the mountains and through some of the brilliant roads west and south of the mountains?  We will discuss final route(s) at the meet point but Taralga, Tuena and Frogmore are a clue to some of the great options for getting to Crookwell the interesting way.
