Who would like to join us for a sojourn down south?

Heading south along some great back roads to Braidwood for lunch and then down the coast to Moruya for 2 nights on the river. A nice easy ride with a late start as it is winter.

Saturday 11 June: Meet point Moss Vale Maccas (1 Robertson Rd Moss Vale),  with a full tank of fuel,  

10 am for a  10.30 am depart.

Sunday 12 June is a play day, we will probably head down to Tathra via Bermagui and maybe head up to Candelo.

The ever popular annual weekend ride to Rylstone is on again.

Saturday 2nd July. Meet at Maccas McGraths Hill at 9.00am.

I have put a hold on every room at the Globe Hotel. It is up to you to call and book your own rooms and/or share rooms. The publican is Paul and the number is 6379 1048.  Don't hang about as this fills up quickly.

I have also booked the dining room for dinner.

After all the Covid crap that we have been subjected to over the last two years I am really looking forward to catching up with everyone

Easter ride to the Victorian Border with the opportunity for a fantastic long loop ride into the Victorian High Country. And a cracking ride Sunday via the western side of the Snowy Mountains up to Boorowa. 

Plan is to leave Good Friday morning, staying Friday 15th and Saturday 16th at the Woomargama Hotel near Holbrook.  Sunday night will be at the Boorowa Hotel making for an easier run back to Sydney on Easter Monday.

Tumut and it's almost Autumn. Last of the summer beer. Our fast and fearless president is organising a weekend ride to Tumut via all the best roads. Down Saturday 26th February back Sunday 27th Feb.

Two longish days of about 550 or 600k a day. Staying in the Orient Hotel in Tumut (69471627) and dinner there too. Book your own accommodation, there are twins and doubles although limited numbers. Or plenty of other accommodation nearby Inc motels for the posh.

UPDATE: This ride to Hill End is changed to Tar route only. Unfortunately due to recent rain the dirt course is a bit of a quagmire and more rain is forecast. Accommodation is available at the Ranch in Hill End.

The Karuah River Rally has been held for decades (apart from the last year) at a riverside campsite on the Karuah River (surprisingly) near Dungog.  John has offered to lead a ride up there.  Its organised by the BMW club of NSW but any sort of bike (and rider) can go.

Key points:  Its camping and bring your own EVERYTHING!  Thats tent, food, beverages etc.  There is about 15k of dirt on the way in, good dirt, but potenitally entertaining in the wet

Xmas resto night

Come and celebrate the end of a very long year with an xmas resto night at the Merton Hotel.  We will also take the opportunity to give out the trophies from the awards night in September so a quasi awards night too.  Who can say no to that!

Its been a while so it must be time to give our trusty steeds some well deserved TLC, maybe its time to fit those new accessories, replace those brake pads or learn how to plug that tyre.  There is a well equipped garage available and plenty of expertise on hand to help with all those tasks that are always better to do in the company of fellow clubmen(women).

If your bike doesnt need any work just swing by and say hi, its always a nice social day, Lindsey and John will put on a sausage sizzle to fill hose lunchtime bellies.
