Yerranderie is an old silver mining town that is (mostly) abandoned. There is an historical area with abandonded mine shafts and restored old buildings where the camp site is located.

The route goes from Mittagong via Wombeyan Caves Road to Yerranderie via Colong Stock route. (With the day group leaving the camping group at Mount Werong).

Mark Cole has asked me to let the club know that the Kangaroo Valley annual Rural Show is being held this year on the 15th of Feb, see his note below.  It's a good opportunity for a day ride and to support a community that has suffered bush fires.

It's time for another social/maintenance day. When was the last time you had to fix that puncture on the side of the road? You have carried the repair kit but haven’t had to use it? Good time to practice is now. Need to change those fork seals and have never done this before, or whatever, there'll be plenty of expertise on hand, if you don't need to get anything done, pop round even just to say hi, we will get a sausage sizzle going for lunch.

This is the resheduled ride to Moonan Cottage via Barrington Tops from November.  I've included eveyone that was booked on the original ride.  If you can't make the ride, let me know and I'll reimburse you.  I'll only take new people as places become available.

Ride Natio without the crowds... stop and take in one of the greatest views on the East Coast of Australia at Stanwell Tops. 

Then ride to Heathcote for a cheeky Thai meal... The  do whatever you want...

This is the 33nd incarnation of Thrashers Terrifying Treck. Not as terrifying as is used to be, but still a good treck.

We'll follow the tried and true route of going in via Wombeyan Caves, and come out via Oberon or Cowmung river depending on levels of enthusasiam. We'll stop for final supplies and fuel in Mittagong. Fuel range can be a bit of an issue, contact me if you have any concerns.

Tuesday 26 November– Clubman Resto night at the Merton Hotel, Rozelle. 

Come along to the Merton Hotel on Victoria Road Rozelle for a great dinner.  Club member Aiden owns the Merton, the beers are cold and the food is excellent.  Aiden has offered us a semi private area for dinner.  And we may do a bit of club meeting stuff too – hear about recent rides since the last meeting and catch up on whats coming up. 

Plan on being there from 6.30 onwards and we will try to eat about 7.00pm
