The Clubman Tourers Annual General Meeting

At the AGM we oversee the election and/or appointment of a new club committee, get reports from the Treasurer and auditors and generally make sure the club is tracking along ok.  There is a formal process for nomination of someone to be on the committee which we will post separately about.

The Annual General Meeting will be held at The Angel Hotel on September 23rd at 6:30pm (sharp!!). This is the same venue and time as last year and the AGM itself is free to attend (this is not the case if you stay on after the meeting).

This year, we are going to trail something new – combining the awards night with our Annual General Meeting.  Don’t let that scare you though – the plan is to hold the AGM just before the awards night festivities begin so you can avoid it if you prefer.  The AGM is not a long process – it should take no more than half an hour – and this gives you an opportunity to easily attend what is a vital and important event for the club, and to see out the old committee and vote in/welcome the new one.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL - space is limited, book in early so you don't miss out.

The Club AGM will be held on the 22nd of September this year. This is a great opportunity for you to put something back into this great club. Don’t worry there are plenty of people to support you if it is your first time on the committee. It is a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are considering putting your name in the hat, reach out to your committee for more information.
