The Australia Day Ride is historically held on 26th January.
We are looking for someone to lead the ride.
Last years ride was up the Putty, through Singleton, across to East Gresford, Dungog, Stroud Road, then down Bucketts Way to the Pacific Hwy (briefly) before turning back inland for some backroads around Maitland and Cessnock, then Wollombi and Central Mangrove, then home either via the Old Road towards the city or Spencer & Wisemans Ferry for the Westies.
This could be done again if anyone is interested please reply to this post

It’s time get out your tinsel, or your baubles, or slap Santa on your windscreen, or any other Christmasy thing dangling from your bike, helmet, jacket...
Come one, come all to a second December evening ride. If you can’t make both, aim to join us for either the 5th or 12th.
Please contact us if you are interested in this event.
Deck your bike in boughs of holly and come along for another evening ride, this time through the Royal National Park, dinner and a good catch up. The most decorative bike may even win a prize.

...and looping back through Mangrove Mountain. Turning the old road up and back into a bit of a loop. Dinner will be had at the Mooney Mooney Club, which is in a lovely location overlooking the Hawkesbury. We'll be leaving the meet point at 6:30 sharp so we can be sure to get to the club for dinner, so if you're looking to be a little tight making it but still want to come then give me a call and we can meet up along the way.

Come along for an easy day ride through Mount Tomah to Leura for a late brunch. The route will commence at McDonalds at McGraths Hill and wind through Kurrajong and Bilpin along Bells Line of Road, stopping briefly in Mount Tomah. From there it will be on to Caffeine and Gasoline in Leura for some much needed coffee and brunch or lunch, whichever takes your fancy. Riders can plan an extra leg from there and take the long way home if they wish.
