Karuah River Rally and Day Ride

A perenial club favourite :-) A great ride to a great campsite in the forest near Dungog about 300km nth of Sydney. Up the Putty to Singleton then onto East Gresford and the charge over the mountain to Dungog for lunch. 30km from Dungog to the rallysite inc 15km of good dirt , set up camp then into the creek for a swim.

Wave them off as they depart into the forest while the rest return to our comphy beds .)

March 2012 Club Meeting

Come one, come all to the monthly clubman meeting. Hear the amazing tales of the last months rides. The death defying antics from the resto nights and other social events. See the future calender get planned. Audience participation encouraged. Get on your soap box in general business. Gasp at the treasurers report. Be stunned by the minutes of last months meeting. Who will move to accept this month? How do they actually remember, or is it all just smoke and mirrors? Come early for a great feed from 6pm on

Australian Speedway championships & night ride

The 2nd round of the Australian speedway championships is on at Kurri Kurri speedway on Jan 14th , its near Cessnock. Speedway is always spectacular , we'll ride up & watch the gladiators in action !!  An arvo ride there , watch the action then a night ride down the Old Pacific Hwy Home, a great day !!

Boxing Day chillout ride & swim

An easy arvo ride through Royal National Park and swim at either Bundeena or Garie to get over all the Xmas indulgence.

Talking to Pat the other day we realised we haven't noticed many evening rides this year. As they are about the only sort of rides I can fit in at the moment I decided to try running one.

The other reason was that we tried a Tapas bar in Richmond a couple of weeks ago and liked it so much we couldn't resist going back for more next time we drove past! (http://www.delishus.com.au/) It's in one of Richmond's great old heritage buildings with tables in a large courtyard out the front (or inside). Tapas is a very relaxed way to graze your way through an evening with a bunch of mates and it's open late so it sounds ideal for a post- evening-ride venue. Plus, it's only 45 mins (via Richmond Road, M7 & M4) back to the city.

On top of all that, the guy who owns it rides a Firestorm, used to have a VFR and has pics of his last Eastern Creek track day on the wall :-)

A big ride to  celebrate Australia Day. As Australia Day falls on a Thursday those joining us for the full ride will be required to take the Friday off work.  Those who can't take the Friday off are welcome to join  us for the Saturday / Sunday.

The route has been changed slightly and now has even more great roads as 1 nights accommodation was proving to be a problem along the coast. We will stil be able to have a cool off in the river at Dalgety and Gundagai. 

Meet at Murrumbateman on the evening of the 25th.
