This year's Xmas party is at the Hawks Nest Beach Caravan park with dinner next door at the golf club. Our fearless leader - Biggles - has checked it out already and has given it the "two thumbs up", so its northward we will venture.

I keeping hearing great things about the Araluen Valley Hotel. So I thought it might be time to pay a visit and what better way to do it than with the Clubman and Clubwomen. AND it's a great chance to get away on your bike before the Xmas craziness begins.

We will be in search of brown tar (dirt) roads but there will be black tar options for those who don't like dust on their bikes.
Starting Moss Vale, through Kangaroo Valley to Nowra then Nerriga, stopping at Braidwood for lunch. Then its more dirt roads to Goulburn and out the other side to Taralga.
The next day we will tackle Swallow Tail Pass heading up to Canyonleigh and home to where ever.

Do you fancy riding through the snowies this October long weekend? This is not only a chance to get in an extra days riding - it's a chance to ride the beautiful snowy mountains roads which officially re-open on the October long weekend. If we're lucky these fabulous roads will be lined with snow. We'll do angels in the snow, make a snowman even. Yes, the 2016 October long weekend is a Walls of Snow!! But for those that are scared of a little bit of cold, there are warmer route options available (you know who you are).

"You're only (in) Young once", and so this may well be your last chance to visit this old country town in the undulating countryside of the south west slopes. Paul is organising an around about ride taking in some of the great winding country roads down that way with a bit of easy dirt thrown in (avoidable if you want). Starting from Pheasants Nest, taking the dirt through Canyonleigh and Brayton, cutting up to Crookwell for coffee. Along the Rugby twisties, through Rye Park to Borowa, then south through Galong, McMahons Reef and down the racetrack to Jugiong for lunch. North up the Jugiong road to Harden then a lovely backroad into Young. It's a great time of year to head west.
