Held over the Easter long weekend at the Victorian State Motorcycle Complex in Broadford, April 14-16, the SIBBB is a unique motorcycling event that attracts participants nationally and internationally. Many classic models of a variety of different marques are represented on and off track at the State Motorcycling Complex in Broadford, a perfect venue to host such a diverse event. The complex includes road circuits, off road enduro loops, motocross and speedway tracks. There are also display grounds for participants and visitors to fully immerse themselves in the Bonanza.

We are off to Cooma just before the cold of winter sets in.

The plan is to head on down completely avoiding the highway once out of Sydney!

This club is a diverse group, and it turns out when we’re not out riding, some of us girls knit, crochet, sew, paint, draw etc.  So this is a girls weekend away for us to spend some time with our craft work.  We have booked a gorgeous house in the Hunter Valley for the Friday and Saturday nights.  Accommodation costs will be around $170 each (depending on numbers).  We self cater food and spend the weekend doing our various hobbies, eating, drinking and having a good old gossip.  These are very chilled weekends.

I am organising the annual pilgrimage again this October and through good luck we have been able to secure a fantastic house on the island, right in Cowes. This means that we can accommodate more people this trip. 2 x couples and at least 9 singles. Places are very limited and we need a firm commitment NOW if you would like to come along.  Deposit required by this weekend 11-12 March!

This is a late start weekend run to Rockley, staying in the lovely Rockley pub.   The thought is (though unconfirmed – I am conferring with Mike here...) to take Bells through to Hartley Vale into Oberon and then west to Rockley via a lovely dirt road winding through valleys.  If you’re a die hard roadie though there are tar only routes.

This is a DIY weekend so you need to book your own accommodation directly with the pub.  There are some double rooms with own bathroom at $110.  And some double rooms with a shared bathroom (can’t remember how much they were).  There are also a couple of twin rooms with shared bathroom at $65/person.
