This year's Xmas party is at the Hawks Nest Beach Caravan park with dinner next door at the golf club. Our fearless leader - Biggles - has checked it out already and has given it the "two thumbs up", so its northward we will venture.

Daylight savings is upon us and so it's time for some evening rides again.  

There's not a lot of light for a long run at the moment so a shorter run up the old road to Gosford and then back to the Mooney Mooney Club for dinner is the plan this time.  I only found out that the place existed recently so are keen to have a look.  It has nice views over the water apparantly - though it may be a little dark when we're there.  Mains range from $18 up.

It's the best time to do the old road and a great way to blow some cobwebs mid week.

I keeping hearing great things about the Araluen Valley Hotel. So I thought it might be time to pay a visit and what better way to do it than with the Clubman and Clubwomen. AND it's a great chance to get away on your bike before the Xmas craziness begins.

Join us for the 35th Annual Thunder Rally

See info below from the Ducati club:

The rally site is the picturesque Sheba Dams Recreation Area,

Nundle, approximately 430 kms north west of Sydney

Camping on-site.

No cars or dogs please.

A flat rate entry fee of $25, pre-paid or on the day will include a badge and a cold drink upon arrival, upon reporting to the official tent.

The Rally is “BYO everything”, however the following is available in the Nundle township—fuel, food, basic supplies and EFTPOS. The Lions Club are providing a BBQ Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Yes, the Bowral Tulip festival is on and Mascha and Evelyn are heading down with any club people keen for a leasurely Sunday run blowing out the awards night hangover.  Take it away Mascha(with a couple of runs co-ord edits)...

An easy and relaxing day ride half about riding and half about going to the Tulip Festival  at Bowral. 
The idea is to have a nice windy ride down to Bowral. Trying to arrive at the Festival around noon. Then spend a few hours there surrounding ourselves with fragrant flowers (and funny that the Tulip would be my favourite flower, might be a Dutch thing ;)...
